The FHF series thin-film heat flow meter 'Quantifying Heat Flow.' The FHF06 is a model designed to withstand higher temperature environments (up to 250 degrees).
The CHF-FHF series thin-film heat flow sensors measure the heat flux passing through the embedded or mounted object and express it in units of W/m² (watts per square meter). The internal sensing element is made of a thermopile (a collection of thermocouples), and the small voltage output generated by the temperature difference between the front and back of the sensor is converted into heat flow by multiplying it by a sensor-specific coefficient. The CHF-FHF06, like the conventional model CHF-FHF05, is flexible and features an integrated T-type thermocouple, along with a thermal spacer to reduce dependence on thermal conductivity.
